We believe that a dedicated, proper and honest service is the key to value creation and sustainable growth

SKY-LIGHT's values determine everything we do and the way in which we do it - towards our customers and amongst ourselves.

Relationships

An honest service, means that we deliver exactly as promised. In the agreed quality. On the agreed date. We develop and design new products in partnership with our customers because we believe this strengthens both their business as well as our business and creates value for both parties.
That´s how we build trust and lasting relationships with customers and suppliers.

The products

A dedicated service means that we have our customer's needs at the centre of our attention when we develop, design, manufacture and supply film and packaging in uniform high quality. Our solutions protect and promote the customer's products, support their environmental and sustainability initiatives and strengthen their business. We respond quickly and competently whenever our customers need us. Regardless of whether our customers need products from our standard range or if they need design and development of new products.

The future

A proper service means that we take responsibility for the world we live in and will be handing over to the next generation. We work continuously to minimise our use of resources and the impact we have on the environment by optimising reuse and our own energy recovery. We are among the best in the industry at reusing plastic in new products - and we are getting better all the time."

The workplace

An ambient, proper and safe workplace means that we respect each other as colleagues and human beings. We help each other and make room for everyone who takes responsibility and makes an effort.

We are proud to be a family-owned business with strong roots in West Jutland. Our history and experience provide us with a solid foundation for continued development and growth.

We would like to grow. But we always want to be better.
We would like to lead the way. But we never run without direction
Everything we do must create value.

We call this "meaningful development"
For our customers. For SKY-LIGHT. For the future.

Facts

SKY-LIGHT is a privately-owned company - founded in 1960 - and located in Varde, Denmark. More than 120 dedicated employees currently ensure that we are able to produce more than 20,000 tonnes of thermoforming sheets and more than 650,000,000 plastic items every year. Our production runs seven days a week. This requires high levels of flexibility and adaptability.

Our focus on the environment and resources means that we recycle production waste from both extrusion and thermoforming processes and work closely with customers and other partners on the reuse of their production waste. We clean and treat scrap (production waste) to ensure that the raw materials can be used for the manufacture of packaging for the food industry.
